What is academic coaching?
Academic coaching encourages students to strengthen a wide range of academic skills including time management, note-taking, study skills, planning and organizing, test preparation reading comprehension, and test anxiety. Each coaching session is tailored to meet the student’s needs and goals.
Students who wish to improve their academic performance and become more active learners may schedule an individual academic coaching session with available staff members at the CLASS.
Meeting with an academic coach on a regular basis can help students monitor their academic progress and develop a more meaningful approach to their academic pursuits.
